Gary Salman is recognized as both a seasoned security expert and a visionary leader in healthcare technology.   In the late 1990s, he developed one of the earliest cloud‑based dental practice management systems, which was acquired by a publicly traded company in 2002.   This early work laid the foundation for his later focus on integrating AI and cybersecurity into business administration for healthcare providers.    At this lecture, he will apply AI (Artificial Intelligence) concepts to dental business management.  

Beyond technology, Salman has over 17 years as an instructor at West Point and serves as a Deputy Sheriff.  He is also a member of InfraGard, a national cybersecurity law enforcement program. This dual background in law enforcement and business administration informs his approach to incident response, compliance, and organizational security.

Salman’s work bridges artificial intelligence and business administration in healthcare. He is a frequent lecturer at national dental association meetings, training tens of thousands of dental healthcare professionals on best practices for securing practices and mitigating AI‑driven cyber threats. His presentations often address how AI (Artificial Intelligence) can be leveraged for risk management, operational efficiency, and cybersecurity in dental and medical business operations.
