Insurance Questions

For any insurance related questions, please contact us at info@ridental.org and we will forward your questions to our Dental Benefit Chairperson.

The Council on Dental Benefits for the RIDA has investigated several complaints where claims have been processed incorrectly based on our state law. The improper processing of those claims resulted in underpayment to the dental offices involved. It is our opinion that this is happening with a greater frequency than is being noticed since most office personnel lack a proper understanding of how the law applies to claims. Therefore, as a benefit for being a member of the Rhode Island Dental Association, the Council on Dental Benefits would like to inform you of your rights under Rhode Island’s Non-Covered Services Legislation (RIGL 23-17.13-6).
